These Terms and Conditions govern your use of IBKR Automate. By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, downloading the agent, or sending alerts through the service, you agree to these terms. This product policy should be reviewed with qualified legal counsel.
Service description
IBKR Automate receives authorized TradingView webhook messages, queues them, and delivers them to your authenticated local agent. The agent can submit supported order instructions through your already-authenticated paper TWS or IB Gateway session. The service does not provide investment advice or guarantee execution, performance, or profitability.
Account and security
You are responsible for accurate account information, protecting your password and license key, keeping your webhook URL private, and all activity performed through your account. Notify support promptly if you believe an account credential or webhook URL has been exposed.
Trading and execution risk
Automated trading involves substantial risk, including market volatility, slippage, rejected orders, connectivity failures, platform outages, incorrect alert configuration, and losses. This agent is paper-only. You are responsible for reviewing alert messages and monitoring the paper account. Never alter this release to submit live orders.
Acceptable use
You may not use the service to violate laws, send unauthorized orders, interfere with the service, probe or bypass security controls, reverse engineer protected components, resell access without permission, or submit malicious, unlawful, or abusive content.
Subscription and payment
Subscription access is managed through the configured payment provider. Access may be limited, suspended, or ended when a subscription expires, is cancelled, payment is reversed, or these terms are violated. Payment, refund, and billing questions may also be governed by the provider's terms.
License to use the application
Subject to an active subscription and these terms, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the paper agent for your own authorized workflow. You may not copy, distribute, sublicense, or modify the application except where applicable law permits.
Availability and changes
We may update, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service, including for maintenance, security, or product changes. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. We may update these terms by publishing a revised version on this page.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” without warranties of uninterrupted availability, fitness for a particular purpose, profitability, or error-free execution. To the maximum extent permitted by law, IBKR Automate and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or trading losses arising from use of the service.
